Itโ€™s often said that modern diets have too much omega-6 compared to omega-3, leading to health issues. But research shows that as long as omega-3 intake is adequate, the overall balance isnโ€™t important, as we once thought. In fact, both omega-6 and omega-3 fats are independently beneficial.

So instead of worrying about cutting out vegetable oils, focus on adding more omega-3s to your diet! Good sources include seafood, chia seeds, flax seed, walnuts and canola oil!
