There's something very special about woodlands & forests and their ability to take your thoughts away from the pressures of life and put them in a better place, even if just for a moment. I've talked before about why woodland is so important to me but in this video I wanted to stress just how fundamental the environment is for my wellbeing and how in turn it has influenced and informed my photography. I'm a strong believer in connection and empathy in order to be able to see compositions in woodland photography.
