The first snowfall of the winter and I decided to have a brief wander in a private woodland of ancient oak trees - some of which will be around 700 years old. The flat grey light and limited time made things a little challenging but that's always part of the fun and I learnt a lot about the location that will help me on future visits. I'm very fortunate to have access to this woodland for my photography, which is something that I also talk about in this episode. Expect future videos from this location as I'm sure it has some delights to offer. I've also included a quick preview of some photos I made during my first ever visit to another local woodland recently. Despite my lack of knowledge of the area, it was a productive afternoon in conditions that were well suited to the location's species and character.
