One of the most important and crucial parts of landscape photography for me is to search, discover and explore obscure woodland with my four legged friend. I seek locations that haven't been photographed before and I love the therapeutic process of finding unique subjects and previsualising compositions for a future visit.

In this episode I make a first-time visit to a very small woodland in North Yorkshire, uncover lots of potential and grab some snaps with my compact camera. It's hopefully going to be very interesting to see what the final results will be like in the coming weeks, months and indeed years!
