Such an oddball groove on this tune. I love it though! Once again, something only Ringo would have thought to play. The bass drum is playing quarter notes the whole way through while the hi hat is playing quarter notes with the foot while simultaneously playing 8th notes with the right hand. This gives it that sloshy effect. Like I said, very odd but super cool and perfect for the song.
Ringo starts the song with a slight variation for the first few bars, only opening the hi hat on 1 and 3 and then getting into the quarter note pulse after about four bars.
