One of my favorite John Lennon ballads. This is the one song that Jim Keltner played drums on for the Imagine album and he definitely made it memorable. Such a cool and playful use of the bass drum. Especially for a ballad. It starts out very straightforward but progressively gets busier as the song goes on, never getting in the way though. I tried my best to get this as close to what Keltner played. I’m sure it’s not note for note perfect though. Enjoy!
