A request by SR Striker. Amazing Spider-Man 3 was the proposed sequel for Amazing Spider-Man 2 and part of what Sony intended to become their own Spider-Man Cinematic Universe.

The film was cancelled for a collection of reasons, including a lukewarm critical response to Amazing Spider-Man 2, the firing of Andrew Garfield, and a deal with Marvel Studios to include Spider-Man Captain America Civil War. This is my recreation of what the possible sequel could have looked like based on rumored characters and possible castings.

Mysterio was one of a number of villains teased in the closing credits of Amazing Spider-Man 2. I cast Zachary Quinto as Mysterio part of the request. Shailene Woodley was actually cast as Mary Jane in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but all her scenes were cut from the film. In the absence of Gwen Stacy, I thought it would be fun to add Mary Jane back into the series.
