Captain America 3: Mad Bomb is a failed film intended to be the second sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger.
From what I've been able to piece together, the film would have been a partial adaptation on the comicbook arc Mad Bomb from the comicbook Captain America and The Falcon. The film would have featured Baron Helmut Zemo has a villain. Since Zemo is a member of Hydra in the comcs, I assumed that Hydra would also have been involved.
I want to try my hand at a brooding conspiracy video in this trailer. I also felt the film should include Hydra to bring a close to Captain America's old enemies who seem to have dropped out of the film following their brief appearence in Ant-Man.
The film would have revolved around a macguffin called the Mad Bomb, a machine that causes people within range to become homicidal and try to killed each other. According to MarvelStudios producer Nate Moore, the film would have been very grounded and political film.
The film was cancelled after Marvel Studios got the go ahead to adapt the comicbook arc Civil War instead. According to MarvelStudios producer Nate Moore, Kevin Fiege felt the Mab Bomb Arch wasn't "big enough"
