I found something wild in the archives today. This is the actual 1985 commercial for Gauntlet, the Atari classic that basically invented four player co-op in arcades. The strange part is nobody is fully sure this ad ever aired on TV. It turned up years later on an old VHS tape that belonged to one of the artists who worked on the game at Atari. Gauntlet is also the game behind that famous Elf needs food badly voice line, and it ate so many quarters back in the day that some arcade owners eventually shut the announcer off completely. Total piece of gaming history.
