Domark games weren't all catastrophic, their 1990 conversion of Tengen's Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters is an isometric joy of wonder.
A B-movie blast-fest where you command hunks Jake 'n' Duke to rescue bikini-clad hostages, vaporize robot hordes, lob smart bombs, and smash the Repletion overlords.
For an isometric game, this plays at breakneck speed, in fact, too fast at times, but that's part of its challenge.
Graphics deliver crisp, humorous monochrome sprites with a punchy in-game tune.
This is a classic, well done Domark.
