3D Stockcar 2 1992
The colourful pseudo-3D track view holds up but the switch from isometric tracks feels generically plain.
Controls are responsive once you get used to the handling and the power slides are an improvement on the original. There are less tracks on offer but your competitors appear more tenacious and aggressive.
Sound is basic but the engine roar and crash effects do the job.
It’s not revolutionary, but for a quick blast it offers more personality and replayability than most top-down racers.
This is a worthy sequel but I just miss the isometric style.
