Mario's Journal:
Day 14
Sledge and Mallet set up a new shop near the castle town. They were more than happy to enhance our hammers. Good thing we took care of this because there was quite a rockslide blocking the entrance to Teehee Valley. Toadsworth saw us off. We promised him that we'd protect Peach.
There were monsters all over the desert! Many of them tried to grab Peach but we were too fast for them. She even got a few hits in. Really the only trouble we had was with a large tree monster. We had a hard time finding its weak point until in desperation, Peach threw a rock at the top of its head. That definitely triggered it. We took the monster down.
A couple of Toads were nearby to greet us and take us to Little Fungitown. Peach wanted to go see the sights on her own. I know she'll be safe here. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to take a little break. There's not really any danger since Cackletta and Fawful are gone. I'm sure Peasley and Queen Bean have already sent out search parties to look for the pieces of the Bean Star.
