Mario's Journal:
Day 17
The translation was just a bunch of colors in a specific order. I remembered seeing a set of colored blocks by the broken tracks at Green Station. We went over there to check them out. I hit the blocks in the specific order and the tracks were repaired. We were able to go to Red Station!
We ran into a very dark room as we explored the place near Red Station. There we were greeted by a figure with a lantern. He looked and sounded like some kind of ghost. He was working for the Shy Guys here and attacked us! Goombario noticed something strange about the lantern as we smacked it to keep the room lit. He said it looked like there was something inside that wasn't a candle or lightbulb.
I smashed the lantern as hard as I could while my friends worked together to finish off the ghost. The lantern shattered and out came a li'l sparky. I haven't seen one of those creatures in a long time. Her name is Watt and she was kidnapped by Shy Guys a little bit ago. She said that she heard about what we were doing from the Shy Guys. She wants to help.
We agreed to let Watt come with us. While she can light up dark rooms, I soon discovered after we were ambushed by Shy Guys that she has electric powers as well. She and Bombette have been working together to cause quite a lot of damage.
With Watt's help, we were able to find General Guy, the man in charge of the whole operation. He sent all of his troops after us but we beat them. Then he arrived in a tank to fight us. Watt was able to disable most of its weapons since the tank couldn't stand electricity. Bombette finished off the tank by destroying it.
General Guy and the other Shy Guys fled. They left behind the Star Spirit, Muskular.
