After testing out the large feeding jacks for several species, we were asked if we could create a smaller version. Of course, the answer was yes, and we just needed the perfect team-building group to build and test the prototype.
During the build, the group created two of these feeders during the half-day event. The feeder has seven chambers inside which are connected via holes. As the device is turned, the food moves between these chambers, and eventually out through one of the two holes. The process of getting out all of the food can take a long time.

A huge well done to the team on creating these devices, it was awesome to see the tapir getting the hang of them in such a short space of time.
