From Gaius Chapter 2.
Basically a recolor of Odin. He's actually easier than Odin, since he only has water/darkness resistances and has less attacks at his disposal. Cross Slayer, his counterattack arte-of-choice, is a joke; it has a 3-sec startup, giving me ample time to move out of the way. His other arte, Whirling Dragonfire, isn't much of a threat either, due to its deceptively small hitbox. I could have combo'd him like Odin, but opted to not utilize weaknesses for a change of pace. Kinda felt I used Eagle's Rage a tad too much here, but its such a good arte to penetrate the enemy to get behind it, and its safe on startup.

Okay, officially done gameplay-wise with this demo. Sorry, I just couldnt let that whoopin on stream go by unchecked =02. Again, just no Arte Pause and code to set the difficulty is used; all equipment, skills, etc I got from constantly farming the level.
Strategy was, charge guard, and get a CHAIN weakness going with Vels Binding Frost(hits earth/fiend) and Laphis KRay(hits demihuman). Magilou and Eizen on support with spells(Flood Wall and Stone Lance). Every 5 normals, shell summon 2 witch minions to the battlefield... as people who watched the stream know, its my loss from that point. If I see her attempting to summon, Ill just run up and attack her fast, hoping to proc her guard. Occasionally, shell get superarmor when using the summoning; can only hope everyone is attacking her at once in case my artes are resisted, to break the summoning(and if I didnt, again my loss). Peepit!? is relatively easy. They have no Iron Stance on any of their attacks and are easily comboed. Simple weaknesses to slap onto a gem/weapon for +CC and damage too. They are somewhat dangerous after 50% HP as they get Burning Phoenix and Mirage(the teleporting overhead dive), but thats not a problem here. Using Magnetic Gate, I bring them in and combo them with spells to death. I use a Title that grants +CC upon enemy death(+6CC for highest of this Title series), allowing me to use spells infinitely. Her Lv 3 MA will hit all the enemies and if they all die at once it will end the battle.
GentleEel is worse than Gentleman. Like Peepit!? It has only 3 easy-to-equip weaknesses for +CC on every hit. Hes quick, so I use a combination of physical and low-tier cryas artes to keep him away until he can be stunned, then use mid-tier magic to push him into phase 2. That is still the worse phase(75%HP ~ 50%HP) where it throws its undodgeable bladerang and instantly uses Nova Lightning and Falling Ice by pulling it out of its non-existent hat that is deceptively quick. Cyandine point-blank and Accel MA skips this phase. Outside that, he is not tough. Phase 3, he likes to do his riverdance, which I break using cryas artes, and for the final phase, where he swims, his long body on the ground makes him particularly vulnerable to Cyandine ironically enough.
Fourier is just too hard to fight normally. I tried doing it a more fair way, but with Proto Veres attacking constantly and Fouriers undodgeable attacks, with range the same as Pascals, it felt impossible. I decided to rely on RNG to land the petrify debuff via Infernal Prison(could have used gem for more consistency, but opted not to), and use Cyandine point-blank to deal a massive amount of damage in one go, eliminating any threat she would have been. After that, Proto Veres is the same as Veres, but easier, since it doesnt have stagger time reduction and can be comboed normally.
Reala has extremely high C.DEF which weakens cryas artes and MAs damage, but I dont really let that deter me from using magic to juggle. Not really much to say here other than at 50%HP she starts using spells more predominantly. I played it super safe, as many of my 100s of deaths came from being too aggressive during this half of the fight. Forward-stepping Photon Burst is the easiest way to open her up as she is vulnerable right after a spell cast. It would have been easier if I equipped the Enemy Eleth Growth Down Title to prevent her from going into OVL, but opted for a different title just for the end-of-battle quote.
Solomus was a rough one... at first. Big thanks to Muctales 7 years old comment on his Reala[Cheria solo] video about how EVA works. I was barely moving the Critical Gauge, which made it difficult to pin him down with a critical in the 2nd half of the fight. I managed to win w/no damage without this info, but I wasnt satisfied with the execution of the battle. Even though I only dualized to 1750 EVA(ran out of money), it was still enough to greatly increase the Critical Gauge on Aura Guard and normally attacking.
That being said, I wanted to go through all phases of the fight. For a more in-depth explanation of the phases you could read my original post on my old Solomus video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AOqUy0wgfU
Easiest way to deal with his physical attacks is still a backstep upon any attack, then reacting to what he does. His Beast and Shadow Rush attacks in the 2nd half leave very little room to land a hit, so I just have to wait for his normal attacks before I can open him up again. Holy Lance is forward-stepped to avoid completely, the clones get Cyandine(he can teleport when he is at 25%HP after the clones so I have to go to them to hit all of them at once), and Indignation is avoided with summon.
A revisit to my Pascal run.
No cheats were used to give me an unfair advantage; the ones Im using are:
1) Turn on/off the Grade shop options(for damage control)
2) Alters the camera angle like Zesty/Bersy/Arise
3) Use Pascal everywhere
4) Retry a fight. Some optional fights and Zhonecage dont give you that option.
Many later files were carried over from my ps3 run. Any questions or concerns, feel free to drop a comment =03. Tales of Graces f : Enter the Zhonecage 2 - Pascal 2021 solo](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/r_9Soyao7rs/mqdefault.jpg)

So...I overleveled because it took sooo long to kill off the party, and still couldnt beat em because of the damage I took during it. Then I thought, just hack em out. Made this a bit too easy.... I wont use Unison Attacks after this one either, for however long I carry this(MAs are still okay).
list of hacked things for Marta:
-All artes can link to normals; as such, # of attacks in a row = # of normal combo hits; still must follow arte rules
-slight increase in recovery time after all artes(prevents infinite spam)
-UP-normal has additional follow-up attack while in the air(not perfected)
-Swallow Waltzs backflip at start of the arte has been removed
-can follow normals after EX Attacks and artes
-aerial version of Swallow Waltz
-casting speed for spells reduced so the magic is cast right after incantation
-upgraded Tmpst Sw, R. Gale, Rem Strike to arcane artes
-has all magic in which she has an incantation for(Stone Blast, Ice Needles, Stalag, Icicle R, Neg Gate, Bld Howling, Grd Dash, Absolute, Scare Shot(not usable) Tales of Symphonia 2 ~ Dawn of the New World : Hawk / Porthos / Athos - Marta solo](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sF1wzPK-mQc/mqdefault.jpg)

![Tales of Xillia 2: Chimeriad [failure] - Leia solo
From Gaius Chapter 2.
Successful take: http://youtu.be/1O0BnMY3SDU
Huh? Why upload a bunch of failure takes and make the winning one the backup!? Seems pretty stupid frubam...
Perhaps. Main thing was to have others understand where I truly wanted to go with this. Watching the rather straight-forward success run first would dwindle what to expect, or probably not be watched at all, lol. Plus I simply hate it )=01; its so lacking of variety or skill, and seems so cheap, it makes me sick. Knowing how it is, it kills any motivation to watch it.
In any case, it is easy to beat them if youre being efficient, but this aims to be on the stylish side, if you can call it that. Though there are numerous things that can take me out in this battle, there are three major things that are the biggest hindrance;
(a)Elemental resistance: this prevents stagger if an enemy comes upon me while Im attempting to stagger another, and use a move theyre resistant against. Happens most with Jiao and Rending Quake, but also happens with Presa and Crescent Flash regularly, which leads them running straight through the arte to attack me.
(b)Jiaos hurtbox: his vertical range is pretty high. Most enemies are normal height(Wing/Pre/Agr), so my natural style tends to stay low vs sending the enemy high. Even when catching an enemy off-guard, Jiao tends to come from behind with Wolf Strike, hitting me despite how high I am. This is also a problem since Leias hitbox expands when using certain attacks, giving him an easier area to hit.
(c)off-screen shenanigans: random Fireballs and Splashes basically. If Agria and I are on the same line, and Im in the air, unprepared, its game over.
Well, thats the biggest contenders. They cover each other pretty well, having various ranges and abilities, so many losses are attributed to them simply outwitting me, losing control of what I was doing, not paying attention, or wrongly anticipating what they were going to do.
Oh, and the HP is so low because Im at a really high level(went through entire Illusionary Darkness), and my STR is herb-boosted to break their Iron Stance easily. Having 6000HP with Iron Stance would pose little problem in dispatching these guys, but would seem cheap, since I always thought the opposite was true(i.e. me with no IS and them with it).
