Bisley is actually easier than Chronos 3 in my opinion. He can be juggled in the air semi-indefinitely after Overlimit like Chronos 1. That pretty much makes him a non-threat. Although he is extremely speedy, some of his moves have a bit of startup, and he has a "Style Shift" arte that leaves him completely vulnerable. He can be guard manipulated into doing Raging Beast, which is easy to dodge or backstep due to its startup and range. Also, I don't think he ever air recovers; he always lands in a downed state making him even more vulnerable. So many vulnerabilities for a final boss =0v.
His most dangerous attacks would be his Demon Burst arte, Curtain Call, and End Bringer. Demon Burst is basically a punch that shoots a Fireball forward. It always comes out, even if you stagger him on the first possible frame, so if you are in front of him and not high enough, its over. Curtain Call itself isn't so bad, but it can catch you off-guard, especially when he uses it from a downed position, it is instant. End Bringer is Squall Shot, just faster and more hits(I think), so you don't have as much time to get away.
He can sometimes prevent being uplifted due to a skill called Damage Control(30% chance to prevent knockback) I THINK...still not actually sure about that =0v. That's not a problem if you have enough INT to inflict Skillseal(again my INT is still 1424 like Chronos 3) with a water weapon or water-based arte. Not much of a strategy here. I react to any counter with a sidestep into ER. During his OVL, I can guard manipulate him into doing Raging Beast. Dodging it with a backstep isn't much of a problem, but I much prefer using ER's invulnerability frames to void the attack, as its a dodge and an attack at the same time while putting me out of his reach. ER is just too good here; it keeps the pressure on him and keeps me safe.
As I said before when I did my original Leia X2 run(almost 10 years ago... how time flies D0=), Xillia 2 was a game that bored me solo-wise because Power Charge 2/3 trivialized practically every boss in the game. I really enjoyed the original Xillia's back-and-forth attack/counter system, even if it was a bit restrictive at times. That's why at the time of the previous run, I decided to not use Power Charge 2/3, and it made it enjoyable. Some bosses I did combos on, others I could go at them like two boxers in a ring. How does it feel doing the entire main game(well, what Leia could naturally access) without a single Power Combo? It had its fun moments, its cool moments, and severely frustrating moments. Some of these bosses just wasn't meant to be played with no PC, and finding the "algorithm" that worked was a bit jarring, but when I finally got the win, it felt pretty accomplishing. I liked coming up with algorithms that allowed me to continuously attack while weaving through the boss's attacks. But at times, the combat did seem to stale for me a bit. Like, there are only so many things you can do if the boss is going to counter in 3 or 4 hits without being completely vulnerable. IF I were to do the run again, I would not focus on making it No Damage, as the primary reason for me to No Damage is to learn the fight better and optimize strategies, not as some marker of skill.
I still plan on doing at least SOME of the Shadow bosses. In the original run, those fights were just terribly done, lol, so I feel I have to improve on those in some way(though to be fair, I was just playing casually and having fun)(also fair warning; its basically ER/RQ simulator 😂). Aside from that, this run is complete. I appreciate anyone who watched and doubly so to those who dropped a comment and I hope you enjoyed at least some fights in the run. 'til next time =03...

From Gaius Chapter 2.
Successful take: http://youtu.be/1O0BnMY3SDU
Huh? Why upload a bunch of failure takes and make the winning one the backup!? Seems pretty stupid frubam...
Perhaps. Main thing was to have others understand where I truly wanted to go with this. Watching the rather straight-forward success run first would dwindle what to expect, or probably not be watched at all, lol. Plus I simply hate it )=01; its so lacking of variety or skill, and seems so cheap, it makes me sick. Knowing how it is, it kills any motivation to watch it.
In any case, it is easy to beat them if youre being efficient, but this aims to be on the stylish side, if you can call it that. Though there are numerous things that can take me out in this battle, there are three major things that are the biggest hindrance;
(a)Elemental resistance: this prevents stagger if an enemy comes upon me while Im attempting to stagger another, and use a move theyre resistant against. Happens most with Jiao and Rending Quake, but also happens with Presa and Crescent Flash regularly, which leads them running straight through the arte to attack me.
(b)Jiaos hurtbox: his vertical range is pretty high. Most enemies are normal height(Wing/Pre/Agr), so my natural style tends to stay low vs sending the enemy high. Even when catching an enemy off-guard, Jiao tends to come from behind with Wolf Strike, hitting me despite how high I am. This is also a problem since Leias hitbox expands when using certain attacks, giving him an easier area to hit.
(c)off-screen shenanigans: random Fireballs and Splashes basically. If Agria and I are on the same line, and Im in the air, unprepared, its game over.
Well, thats the biggest contenders. They cover each other pretty well, having various ranges and abilities, so many losses are attributed to them simply outwitting me, losing control of what I was doing, not paying attention, or wrongly anticipating what they were going to do.
Oh, and the HP is so low because Im at a really high level(went through entire Illusionary Darkness), and my STR is herb-boosted to break their Iron Stance easily. Having 6000HP with Iron Stance would pose little problem in dispatching these guys, but would seem cheap, since I always thought the opposite was true(i.e. me with no IS and them with it). Annoying as hell boss. His penetrate/Iron Stance is hard enough to deal with, but worse is the fact that Martas artes move her under the Garuda, whiffing most of the hits. A major-minor thing, learned while watching clips Richter run, was that the elemental grid allowed the boss to heal. It appears not to heal all that much, but keeping the grid under control is a high priority right now. A few heals can turn the tide in the bosss favor. Add this to his excellent maneuverability, and you have a difficult boss to tackle =01. It leaves me with little choice outside of hit-and-run tactics coupled with Ice Needles to keep the E.Grid under control.
list of hacked things for Marta:
-All artes can link to normals; as such, # of attacks in a row = # of normal combo hits; still must follow arte rules
-slight increase in recovery time after all artes(prevents infinite spam)
-UP-normal has additional follow-up attack while in the air(not perfected)
-Swallow Waltzs backflip at start of the arte has been removed
-can follow normals after EX Attacks and artes
-aerial version of Swallow Waltz
-casting speed for spells reduced so the magic is cast right after incantation
-upgraded Tmpst Sw, R. Gale, Rem Strike to arcane artes
-has all magic in which she has an incantation for(Stone Blast, Ice Needle, Stalag, Iciclc R, Neg Gate, Bld Howling, Grd Dash, Absolute, Scare Shot(not useable) Tales of Symphonia 2 ~ Dawn of the New World : Garuda - Marta solo](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/tZe5Y3iVuRE/mqdefault.jpg)

Thisll probably be my last Zestiria upload for a while. Im sure people are tired of this game =01. Berserias demo is around the corner too. Making a balanced arena while considering both normal and armatization modes was simply too difficult for me to accomplish =01.
Since I didnt want the fight to be MA-spammable, I dont use Axcell, the +stagger skills or code, and only use 1x Mistiq. This gives some weight to the use of MAs where some discretion is needed if I want to get to the end of the fight.
You can TRY try this yourself if you have CE and the God Eater DLC(thats free, but needs to be installed), BUT the technique I used may prevent the Master Arena auto-Config code from working for you. Let me know if it doesnt. It might be TOO easy for some(if it even works) but its not made with max stats in mind.

Original cast levels like normal(except Regal)
Boss was a pain in the arse )=01. Not only is its mobility high, but its in the air, making Preseas attacks whiff or hard to hit it with. His Dread Storm arte, if he does it at close range, is a guaranteed guard break(hits = number of smoke-thingys you get hit by) and drain a huge amount of HP. Lots of losses occurred simply due to losing the battle of attrition in either HP or TP, and/or getting hit with Dread Storm point blank. Fortunately, she comes with Critical 1+2, and since criticals instantly break iron stance, this made it a much more capable fight. Destruction is the safest arte to use because of its both vert and hort range, but I take unsafe measures like aerial normals to speed up the fight.
