Spliced clear segments from the September 28, 2018 Hard Blind Race. Original clear date unknown, re-cleared on January 29, 2022. We have possibly the first of many re-clears that took longer than the original. The big issue started with the first section where the fire spit would keep killing the koopa I needed to jump on. It took me forever to realize it was because I was doing a slow spit so the fire was still on screen when I made it to the right. Dave clearly designed the timing for a fast spit. I had thought the section was jank and was trying to limit screen scroll but it didn't always work.

Section two was your classic Dave precision. The thorn in my side was the blue platform fall. I hated that spike wall (and that extra bottom spike) since it forces you to do a later jump. Almost an hour was spent on just trying to get past that to setup the Aussie tech. And yes, you can cringe at my initial attempts to dispose of the tool.

Dave precision got us again.
