I use Mario because I can't do the beginning strategy with Luigi--he starts running a little too slowly. Doing the beginning this way as Mario seems to be within +/- 0.05s as near perfect execution of the typical strategy used with Luigi.
0:00 - I let the introduction play out in order to manipulate the Fizzlit's timing. Cutting the introduction short seems to result in a longer waiting time at the Fizzlit.
0:22 - It's possible to land a little closer to the Fizzlit, but I'm willing to let this slide because of the ridiculous amount of luck I need to complete this run. Some additional time can be saved by touching the bottom of the Star rather than the top.
Initially, I looked into the possibility of bouncing off the Fizzlit without landing beforehand, but I couldn't find a way to correctly angle the infinite flutter and reach the Fizzlit when it wasn't attacking.
