When it comes to shmups, the "House Style" certainly can set the grounds for what makes a timeless classic, or an epic failure.

With Compile, their 1992 release Super Aleste (or Space Megaforce for those in North America), truly feels like the pinnacle of theirs with its frantic action and fair challenge on a system not typically known for its shmups.
