When most think of games involving air combat, what usually comes to mind are games involving the third dimension - whether represented through scaling sprites, or proper 3D visuals.
But Konami's Deadly Skies (PAL Regions)/Airforce Delta Storm (USA)/Airforce Delta II (Japan) shows a different way, one which manages to be familiar yet incredibly fresh at the same time.
