The Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa in Cairo is a massive complex featuring the mosque, school, and a former hospital. It was built almost 700 years ago, commissioned by Sultan an-Nasir Hassan. The courtyard is stunning, and the highlight for me, besides the courtyard, was seeing and hearing the call to prayer and the midday prayers.
