We continue with the second part of the Submachine series, The Lighthouse. We start similarly like in part one inside a basement, with the difference that we have to climb to the main floor of the lighthouse only to find that it's buried according to a letter which is written by a person called "M" or "Mur". We still have his letter from the first game in which he writes that his lost his left arm, but had another secret arm, the "karma arm". He uses this arm to manipulate time and space. In another letter, he talks about a cat that suddenly appeared and had the ability to distort the dimensions. Because of that, he named the cat Einstein. Appearently, there is another key person in the game series to which Mur wrote a letter, Elizabeth or Liz in short is her name. Inside the room with a painting of the lighthouse, there's a pamphlet that describes the history of this building. It was build in 1857 and is located in "Kent". Henry O'Toole was its architect and it survived several wars without any scratch. Decades later, it got buried by Mur's enemies as he owned the lighthouse and lived inside it. Luckily, there is a portal in the roof, so, there is still a way to escape.
Submachine 2 is pretty similar to its predecessor with the main difference being that there are more rooms, notes and puzzles. Not only are there rooms, there are also narrow passages like the sewer or the digouts. Also, secret items got added into the game. In the Submachine Legacy remaster, they are called micro stabilizers. For now, collecting all secrets do not give a price and it's only intended as an achivement. Sadly, I missed two secrets of all 20 of them, so, there will be another episode.
