Upon arrival to Leaman Place, 475 picks up a loaded boxcar and switches the two empties. Additional run-around moves had to be made because of the coach.
Strasburg Railroad began revenue freight operations in 2013, interchanging cars with Norfolk Southern via the Amtrak Keystone Corridor. The cars are then stored at the yard near the museum, where they are transloaded.

In the heart of Pennsylvania anthracite country exists a regional railroad whose miles are made of famous fallen flags, including the Reading Company; Lehigh Valley; and Central Railroad of New Jersey, stretching from Reading, over the Blue Mountains, and northward above the Poconos. A popular commodity on the aptly-named Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad continues to be anthracite coal, which is shipped far and wide across the country and abroad. But there is another popular coal burning attraction in this area: Reading & Northern #425, a 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive. The former GM&N Baldwin built in 1928 is the main show every October during the Fall Foliage trips. Although a warm and unusually wet season left the autumn colors abysmal at best, the sounds come alive in the hills and across the valleys between Reading and Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania as the gutsy Pacific puts on a show. Join Central Penn Rail Productions on this journey chasing R&N 425 on both weekends, featuring a Reading 6 Chime whistle first, and a CB&Q 3 Chime on the second.
