Two big SD60 switch a feed mill on the busy Norfolk Southern Harrisburg Line, we'll also look at how mainline trains pass a local at work!It is very unusual for large 6-axle power to switch local trains, but the sound of the 710G3A prime mover in shunting action is pretty cool!

July 14, 2010: Reading Local H33 heads to Palmyra with covered hoppers for the PACMA feed mill, which closed in 2013. Train info below.

I ended up making a lot of maps and descriptions for fun, hopefully you find them helpful. SKIP MAPS: 2:30.

0:00 - H33 heads west on main 1 at Annville, with 4 loads for PACMA and two empties from Cargill.

0:55 - 2:30 - Maps and description of shifting and mainline movement.

2:30 - Mixed freight 33A heads east on main one with a mixed locomotive consist:
NS SD70M-2 2727, NS C40-8 8760, NS GP38-2 5223, and NS SW1001 2104.

6:30 - Here's where the title of the video comes from, not sure what happened here, but it looked like a violent coupling!
