Tonight on Hillbilly Crime, we are going back into the Siders case after new reporting that Ohio is seeking permanent custody of the 16 children removed from the Vinton County home.
This is the part of the case where the criminal charges are only one lane. There is also a juvenile court lane, a custody lane, and a system lane. We are going to talk through what permanent custody means, what is publicly reported, what is sealed or confidential, and why the children have to stay at the center of the story.

Then we are switching into Kentucky's ARC story, because the federal Medicaid fraud case was recently unsealed and DOJ says ARC and affiliates have agreed to a $16.2 million civil judgment resolving allegations tied to Kentucky Medicaid billing. Claims resolved by the settlement are allegations only, with no determination of liability.
