A new order has been entered in the Shawn "Mickey" Stines case, and it gives us a cleaner way to start tonight's show before we talk about the TikTok posted by Mickey Stines' wife.
The August 11, 2026 order says Stines will remain held without bond, the Commonwealth's request for an additional mental-health examination is granted, and the Commonwealth's petition for change of venue is granted. The court also says the parties have 15 days from entry of the order to file their requested trial location and reasoning, and after the location and exam date are set, the court will enter a scheduling order for any additional pretrial motions and a trial date.
Then we are going back to the records question raised by the TikTok: if Mickey Stines reported courthouse sexual misconduct before Judge Kevin Mullins was killed, who received that report, when did they receive it, and what did they do after they had it?
