Tonight on Hillbilly Crime, we are separating rumor from record in the Siders case.
There is a rumor going around that Elizabeth Siders is pregnant.
As of tonight, I have not seen a credible public report or court filing confirming that. The bond motion we read last night did not raise pregnancy as a reason for release. It argued no known criminal history, no failure-to-appear history, cooperation, indigency, reunification, and “extreme poverty.”
So tonight we are not treating rumor as fact.
Then we are turning the camera where it also belongs: on the men.
We have watched the women in court. Now we are watching both Garys. Because if 16 children were allegedly living in those conditions, this cannot become an Elizabeth-only conversation.
