Seagulls Gather | Star Trek: The Galactic Whirlpool by David Gerrold Book Review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded August 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
The Galactic Whirlpool is the first book in the Star Trek Adventures series. It is written by David Gerrold - a nebula and hugo award winner - who also created the original series episode 'The Trouble with Tribbles'. That story was similar to Heinlein's flat cats from novel The Rolling Stones, is this one more original or less? Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise crew discover a long lost travelling earth colony in danger of being sucked in to The Galactic Whirlpool! Can they save it in time? Will the Klingons intervene?
