My review of The Ashes of Eden by none other than Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner. Shatner had previously written a number of books in the tek war series, but here he returns to the place he is most famous - Star Trek.
The story follows on from the Undiscovered Country and a mysterious and remote planet seems to offer the aging Kirk the fountain of youth! However, a figure from his past, rising through the ranks in Star Fleet, wants the secrets for himself!
