Springtime in the Adelaide Hills is a lovely time of year , with crisp mornings and blue skies. The light is sharp and bright , and perfect for catching freights battle the 2.2% grades in both directions . A West bound SCT and Pacific National head towards Adelaide , while an Eastbound SCT " Superfreighter" heads towards Melbourne.
