his is a track from my latest (and first) EP, Sportsball, a collection of short tracks made for a friend's sports video. You can check the full EP out on my new Bandcamp page: teuthida256.bandcamp.com/album/sportsball

This was the first (and longest) track made for the soundtrack. It has a clear funk influence with a strong bassline and syncopated melodies. The entire mix has a delay effect on it, which makes the drums sound a lot groovier than in the source file, and the ending uses quartal harmony for a slightly disorienting effect. The snare is sampled from 'Cola Bottle Baby'.

The echo buffer trivializes single-channel echo, Grooves allow you to use fractional Speeds just like regular Speeds, and my favorite fun feature, polyphony, is great for messing around with chords to get inspiration for pieces. I hope that you can enjoy these features as much as I do! One small thing I missed about the echo buffer is that you can use ^0 to just play the previous note. For an example of where you can use this, say you have a simple bass section that just plays a single pitch in a rhythm. Before, changing the pitch of this section required altering every note, but now you can just place ^0 on every instance of the pitch after the initial one. As a small game, can you guess the song Im playing when I show off polyphony? Oxx-Groove Selector Effect(***) xx-Set Groove(limited to how many Grooves you have) Placing Fxx during a Groove will switch to the new Speed, and vice versa.
