Almost immediately after completing the Spacey Dungeon OST, I decided to work with Irish developer Peter McQuillan to create a soundtrack for his homebrew NES game, Dúshlán(pronounced roughly do-slan, it's Irish for "challenge") The game itself is pretty fun, and is basically Tetris with various added challenges. I'm personally a big fan of this one. It's quite relaxing, and uses the Canon Progression. I wanted to capture a relaxing atmosphere with it, and I think I succeeded. This video actually has two versions of the song, one that plays on Normal difficulty in the game and one for Hard mode. The Hard version is faster, has an extra section and does the Truck Driver's Gear Change.
This soundtrack was a greater challenge than previous songs. Due to sound engine limitations, I could only use volume effects; no others. This was quite a challenge(or should I say Dúshlán?). However, I still like the result.
