Oh my goodness, the Reeflux. I don't like this weapon in Salmon Run, as it feels too weak to do much, but here we are. I can get it out of the way in the first wave. And with my squidmates all around me I can feel like I am making a difference. At least when a Fish Finger flies in I can actually splat a boss on my own, which is nice, and then a second lands nearby and I can still hit it. But that shake when I release my shot! I need to relax my grip, or adjust my sensitivity. Either way, the Fish Fingers are splatted, and I land to splat a Maws, something the Reeflux can do just as well as any other weapon. Indeed, I stick mostly to throwing Splat Bombs and eggs, only pausing for a Steelhead that I am close enough to that I can't miss. In the end, it's a decent enough wave.
On to the second wave, and I'm rolling with the Big Swig. I'm also pausing to stroke my cat before the bosses get too close. He's a good kitty. A couple of Maws are easy, and a Scrapper turns its back on me nicely. I head shorewards to splat a Fish Finger that isn't causing any harm, and turn back to help dunk some eggs. Everything's all a bit subdued, it feels like, making it quite relaxing to splat bosses and deliver eggs. A Stinger tries to harsh our calm, but having a squidmate more distant to it than me makes it easier, for me. And a Fish Finger does actually cause problems, spewing ink all around the basket. I can't even climb the post. Still, we clear the wave without issues, and move on to the final one.
The tide behaves itself, and I have a Splash-o-matic, giving me lots of inking power but little range. I need none of either as two Flyfish fly in, but the Flipper makes the weapon useful, and i find a Fish Finger much easier to climb this time. I am nearly caught out by a Flyfish, and nearly fall in the drink escaping its missiles, but survive and deliver some eggs, pausing to splat a Drizzler. As it's the final wave, I use a Killer Wail to splat a distant Stinger, and a second for a Flyfish that just closes its bins and a second Stinger. I think everything's going just fine, until I am the only inkling standing, and standing quite far from the basket. Thankfully, a Chum doesn't stop me climbing a wall, and a well-aimed Splat Bomb hits two squidmates to revive them. Even so, we still need eggs, and quite a few in the last twenty seconds. More Special weapons are used, creating eggs and clearing turf, and we make quota relatively comfortably.
But we're not finished yet. In comes Cohozuna. I have the Hydra Splatling for this, and I believe my best play is to just shoot Zuna normally as much as possible. That's my plan, at least, but it's seems Zuna has the same idea, in that it wants to squish me a lot, and that makes building up a charge more awkward. When I do get some turf between us, a Stinger interrupts me. Not for long, though, as my squidmates are out splatting bosses, so I can simply reposition again and get back to shooting. I'm not sure I'm making big enough dents in Zuna, though, but without eggs nearby there's not much I can do. I just hope I'm not keeping Zuna too far from where there are actually eggs. In the end it doesn't matter, as we are all splatted pretty close to each other, and Zuna survives another wave. Still, we got two silver scales for our efforts.

Inking walls is good, as is splatting the first Flyfish. But so is inking walls. I cant resist splatting a Fish Finger on my way back with an egg either, and although a Stinger is threatening I see a squidmate going to splat it so I simply satisfy myself with bringing back two eggs. Eventually. By the time I do, Im being followed by a Scrapper, so I wait for that to give me three more eggs. After that, its helping with a Stinger and Drizzler, almost getting smacked too hard by a Cohock, and heading back to the basket with eggs scattered all over the place. Another Scrapper has followed me, seeking revenge, but I splat it, and then its time to stop some Snatchers, trying to steal the eggs we already stole. This time, its a Smallfry who gets some watery revenge. So it goes.
The Splattershot Nova lets me ink more walls, which is nice, and hit a Stinger from a comfortable distance. I still need to go to pick up the eggs, which has a Cohock chase me, but I get back to the basket okay. A Lid is dropped twice, and two clusters of eggs are delivered, before I run away from both Flyfish missiles and spoony little Smallfry. I use a Lid to get out of the way of the spoons, and use up some time before the Flyish retargets. I splat it when it does, and follow-up to splat the Stinger waddling behind it. I head back up the column, where I splat a Fish Finger while avoiding Chum, before finally getting to the basket. I head back out for a stocked-up Snatcher, but pause for a Maws, at which point I am bounced around and splatted. We still need eggs too, but my squidmates have use covered.
On to the final wave, and the fog rolls in. I should probably ink some walls! Two Scrappers wander up, and we scrap over them, and a third that appears from elsewhere. Those are easy eggs to start with. A Goldie drops one egg, which is disappointing, but at least we dont get fixated on a big drop and I can head off to splat a Stinger. I let the eggs lay there, wanting to get back to the basket instead, and splatting a Steelhead carelessly standing next to a Goldie gives us a plethora of eggs. Nice! But this is where we could be in trouble, as we have too many eggs to dunk and our focus drops from the bosses. A Kraken helps, as does one squidmate going to splat the Stingers, but even with all the eggs around we still only just scrape the half-century by the end of the wave. A decent result all the same!
But its not over! We have an emergency, as a Horrorboros is spotted over the Station. The previous weapon selections gives me the E-litre 4K for this, which is good. I plant myself at the top of the column and get ready to start shooting! The first Boros-bomb is splatted in its mouth nice and quickly, as is the second, thanks to a Crab. The third goes the same way, dropping Boros below half-health very quickly, but a build-up of bosses, or a lack of golden eggs, means the fourth is thrown free. No bother, and we get back on track with the next bomb, although I muck up and run out of ink, choosing to let my next charge build up slowly. Its not a great choice, and although I get my shot off it is too slow and I get hit by Flyfish missiles. Still, its not all about me, and my squidmates are all over Boros, splatting it moments later. I miss the resulting inksplosion, but the three silver and single gold scale as a reward makes up for that. Woomy! ![Splatoon 3: Very messy Tower Control [14(1)-8, Range Blaster]
I hide for a bit, looking for any green inkling flank us. That doesnt happen, so I hop on the Tower instead, but Im rather isolated, and not smart enough not to jump in to a Splat Bomb. I risk a super-jump back, which kinda lands me safely, but I ruin that by looking for a splat under a Splashdown. My squidmates arent doing much better, and our Wipeout sees the green team extend their lead. Were pushed back a little too much, and Im blasting at anything that moves. I get a splat out of it, which is nice, but not a drink, not even when I get on the Tower. How disappointing.
I hop off the Tower to protect my flank, and follow-up by blasting a pair of inklings standing too close together. I get a glancing hit on the final inkling, and a nicely aimed shot where they are likely to run away to finishes the Wipeout for me. Nice! If only someone was on the Tower. But they get there, as I continue to cause confusion, and with a squidmate on the Tower and the rest of us skirmishing, we steal the lead. I dont seem to be doing much, though, but my Wave Breaker gets a splat, just before I bump my head trying to run away.
I poke forwards as the Tower trundles our way, glancing a blast off the Splattershot, but doing little more. I stupidly waste ink throwing a Suction Bomb in to an Inkstrike, before being a bit more stupid and throwing myself in to one. Super-jumping back in to green ink doesnt seem wise, but I survive the landing, and instead chase a splat down the flank. I get it, which is something, but Im double-teamed and am splatted too easily in the process. I launch myself back in to the fray, getting an assist and a nice accidental splat, and this time I manage to avoid a Splat Bomb. I start probing the turf using my range, looking like Im being sensible for a change, but push for a splat when I predict a nice angle. This time, I jump in to the Splat Bomb.
Dare I super-jump? I dare! I land right in an Inkstrike. I super-jump closer to home next, which works, and I get a nice splat that doesnt quite clear the Tower. I also find myself under another Splashdown. Its fine. We have around thirty seconds left and a decent enough lead. I take a defensive route back, and help clear the Tower, and a bit of the support. I even survive a Trizooka shot at the Tower, as I try to hold on for the final few seconds. I realise thats not going to happen, so I hop off, leaving a Suction Bomb, which apparently was all the ink I had left. It does its job, though, even if it leaves me jumping in green ink unable to do anything, except maybe squeeze out one last blast to clear the Tower and help secure victory. Woomy! ![Splatoon 3: Hitting both ends of a Splashdown in Splat Zones [10(2)-3, Custom Wellstring V]
Inking the Splat Zone from the safe spot seems like a good idea, and moving across to the other comes naturally. My squidmates seem to have things covered, so I head around the back, just what a backliner should do. I get mixed up with the Douser Dualies, who struggle to hit me as I struggle to hit them, and get lucky. I ride that luck and splat the Splat Charger who runs in to me, and the Big Swig Roller super-jumping in. I miss another super-jumper, the Douser Dualies again, but get another splat as I get overwhelmed, leaving my squidmates in a positive position.
I think I can super-jump back, and indeed land safely. I start shooting where it looks like an inkling is, and they are, but when I hear a Splashdown, I manage to swim in the wrong direction. So it goes. I head back to orange Splat Zones, but one turning blue, and try to stay out of trouble for the moment. The blue team arent keen on that idea, and as an Inkstrike flies in I decide to look for trouble instead, and go around the back again. I dont find any, and cant see anything happening, until the blue team start returning. I under-estimate the Splat Chargers aim, and and splatted for it.
I dont risk a super-jump, and return to the blue team encroaching on our turf. I splat one away, miss a Splashdown, and we lose the Splat Zones as we try to defend. The Douser Dualies try to flush me out, but I avoid them by moving around a corner. Its not often that works. With just the Big Swig up, I try to push them back as my squidmates sort out the Splat Zones, and then get some height. I lose sight of the Roller, but see the Dualies coming back and duck away from them. They focus on a squidmate, getting the splat, but as they hit the apex of their Splashdown attempt, I splat them out of the air. Nice!
The Splat Zones are turned orange again, which is good, but the blue team returning have other ideas. As they vie to turn their own blue, my attempt to stop them is delayed by an active Ink Vac. I wait it out, and pop out to incidentally splat the Inkstriker, before only getting a glancing blow on the Splat Charger. I wait for a super-jumper to land, out of sight of the Splat Charger, but before they do, the battle is won. Woomy! ![Splatoon 3: Weird Rainmaker battle [0-0, Hydra Splatling]
Im still chasing Sheldon Licences, hence the Hydra Splatling. I think I can do okay with it. Not that youd know from the start of this battle, where I dont hit the Rainmaker shield, or whoever may be hiding behind the block, and dont charge enough to ink the first checkpoint. But never mind, clearly Im having an effect, because two of the blue team are very keen on keeping me in check, to the point where they entirely ignore the Rainmaker surging to the podium, for an early dunk. But, hey, I got a gold star, and my Sheldon Licence. Woomy! Splatoon 3: Weird Rainmaker battle [0-0, Hydra Splatling]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9SCdxb7zD3c/mqdefault.jpg)
![Splatoon 3: Going for glory in Rainmaker [18(5)-3, Custom Wellstring V]
Phew, I really like the amount of ink the Wellstring can output. Despite popping the Rainmaker, the blue team grab it first, but they dont get far, and by dropping it we get splats and get to move it a bit further. Only a bit, mind you, but I continue to get splats, which is quite pleasing for my return to the string weapon. It also makes me confident when the Splat Dualies come dodge-rolling my way. A little over-confident, but never mind. I super-jump back and help burst the Rainmaker free, and were on the move again. Double dolphins stop us this time, and the Rainmakers placement makes it easier for the blue team to grab-and-dash. I have to swap focus from potential targets to the Rainmaker, and I am too far behind to stop them hitting the checkpoint.
I stop the Ballpoint Splatling from trying to recover the Rainmaker, but a Trizooka causes me to rush in to hiding. A squidmate splats them, and we can move the Rainmaker once more, as I repel the Dread Wringer, but do little to rustle the Splat Dualies feathers. I catch up with the Rainmaker and help keep it orange, although we dont get far. And then were in a minor stalemate, both teams jostling for position around the dropped Rainmaker, until balance tips in favour of the blue team, and their renewed focus on the Rainmaker further clears the turf for them. Despite that, a good opportunistic move from a squidmate keeps us moving forwards, just a little bit.
Despite our efforts, the Rainmaker is back in blue hands, and I sit back looking to protect our turf. We dont do too badly for a while, but some splats lets the blue team ink a path, and a protective Inkjet lets them move the Rainmaker back across to our side. I manage to get enough ink on the Rainmaker to finally stop them, only for the Splat Dualies to take offence and splat me again. Fair enough.
We recover the Rainmaker, near our checkpoint, and I help laying down some suppressing ink. I even manage to make my shots catch up with the Splat Dualies. Nice! I am less able to stop the Ballpoint Splatling quite so quickly, but I do stop them, and when I do it has given enough time for the Splat Dualies to super-jump to their position. Despite their dodge-rolling, I splat them again. It looks like we can get to the checkpoint now, but not with a Dolphin shooting across our path. I leave some bullets on the turf that get some quick revenge, as I retreat to higher turf, and help keep the Rainmaker shield orange. That lets a squidmate get to the checkpoint, and were a step away from stealing the lead.
Its worth making a dash-and-grab ourselves, just to take the lead, and with thirty seconds left in the battle. It works, but why not go for goal? I just about escape a Triple Splashdown, and a Rainmaker blast gets a lucky double-splat ahead of me. Now to swim as fast as I can to the podium, where I just about stay ahead of the Dread Wringer, and dunk the Rainmaker just as I hear the noise of a Trizooka being cocked. Woomy! ![Splatoon 3: A 10x Present in Grand Festival Splatfest [5(1)-2, Splattershot Jr]
Its the Grand Festival Splatfest! Im old-schooling it with the Splattershot Jr, and a 10x battle pops up. Id better focus! I lay down a foundation of ink, with the odd Splat Bomb tossed in, before protecting myself on the rotating platform. I leap from there to the other teams turf, where I immediately attract attention. I had it coming. I take more care on my return, inking around our side more, before spotting an opportunity down the side. That was nice and simple. I then set up base inside a Bubble, which deters attackers, before lobbing a Splat Bomb forwards, which catches someone. Nice!
I push forwards and back in to Past turf, only to leave it straight away looking for a splat. I get one, and take one. I sit back again after that, only really needing to defend the half-way turf to secure victory, which seems to work well enough. The Past team shake up their tactics and approach from the other side, which just means we switch our attentions too. The Specials start flying in the final twenty seconds, an Inkstrike from both sides being particularly dangerous, but I also notice an inkling heading towards our base. I give chase, get the splat, and tidy up our turf, which hopefully makes it easier for Judd to decide who to declare the victors. Woomy! ![Splatoon 3: Joe goes down in Salmon Run [44-31-42-xs, 20/987]
Okay, guys, Ill ink the walls, dont worry. Still, my squidmates splat the early bosses efficiently, and dont get splatted by some drizzle. Im revived quickly and splat a boss here, a boss there, before being chased off a ledge by Cohocks. Then its up a Fish Finger, or not, or maybe I do, and back down to help with a Flipper and just about avoid a Maws. Back up the wall to dodge-roll and splat a Scrapper and Lid sequentially, where Im reminded that a Stinger is nearby. I run out of ink to do much, so pause to refill, then Im off, to get to where a squidmate is splatting the Stinger. At least I can grab another egg to stuff in the basket.
The walls need a touch-up at the start of the second wave, but not much more, so Im splatting bosses quickly. The Steel Eel has everyones attention, and Im happy to see a squidmate catch up with me at the Flyfish. The Lids in an awkward position, but at least it lets me splat a Fish Finger, and then I juggle a couple of eggs back to the basket. From there, its forwards for a Steel Eel and finishing a Flyfish, but I dont have ink for a Maws. Thats a shame, as double-dipping from eggs, which I dont need to do, has a Scrapper bump me in to Mawss second bite. So it goes. Im nicely revived, letting me head up a Fish Finger, where I hope to throw eggs. I try to revive a squidmate, but they get help before my Splat Bomb hits them, and as I refill my tank to throw more eggs I realise we need too many eggs for this to help. I dive off, in to enough rain to make me use an Inkjet to escape it and help out. Thankfully, there are enough eggs lying around for us to hit and just about exceed quota.
Time to go mobile with the Aerospray! Luckily, I realise a Steelhead bomb is on the ledge before I head up, and I reposition to splat it before heading up a Fish Finger and coming back down to bring a Lid with me. I deliver some eggs, but get a bit caught up in the bosses and dont achieve much for a moment. A few Scrappers are easy enough to evade and splat, though, and give us some easy eggs, along with a Snatcher flying past. I run away for a bit to deal with a Stinger, but fail to get away again, leaving me in an awkward position. I may not take the most efficient route back, but I am revived in time to throw my final egg in the basket, thank you, squidmate, and we complete another Run. Or do we?
Here comes Joe. And theyre coming for me. I have no idea where the first bosses are, so I just run in a direction, and pop up to hit the red spot, which seems to be a popular choice. Then we have eggs, but not many. I throw one at the red spot before having to evade the next bite, still managing to get some hits against the spot. Going up the Fish Finger for eggs seems like an idea, and I get another shot on target, before being targeted again. I leave Joe to bite air as I try to splat a Drizzler, getting some eggs but having to leap out of the way of another bite. Unfortunately, my aspect gets me splatted by a Stinger, leaving me out of action but near eggs. I grab one and hope for the best, which handily comes in the form of a squidmates Splat Bomb. I chase a Snatcher for two more eggs and launch the one I have at a distant Joe. It hits, but I realise the red spot is visible, so I go back and aim the other two more accurately. Joes health is lacking, but time is running out. One more bite, though, and Joes back is available for us all to hit. Joe is splatted, and we get a gold scale. Woomy! ![Splatoon 3: We can work with three in Salmon Run [19-28-32, 34/554]
I muck around at the start, running rings around a static squidmate, just having a bit of a lark, waiting for the bosses to roll up. But they disappear! That wasnt meant to happen. Okay, down to business. Im a little upset the Drizzler missile does nothing, but happy to splat the Flyfish in one cycle. I kinda run out of ink, though, and dont get any eggs. And a Stinger has waddled up, which feels important. Its good to see a squidmate thinks that too, and I finally start delivering some eggs. A squidmate is splatted, so I focus on that first, because we dont have the numbers to ignore it. Then dunk some eggs, see a Drizzler missile do nothing again, and fall off the ledge trying to splat it conventionally. And with a splatted squidmate in the distance. I hope my other squidmate has that covered, and throw more eggs in to the basket, before escaping some drizzle. I see a squidmate down by the Big Shot cannon, so leave them to it, and get back to the basket. Weve made quota, which is good, and now we just need to survive the final few seconds. Which we just about manage.
On to the second wave, and down to the shore. We have a Cohock rush, which is normally fairly straightforward, but now well be missing a cannoneer or egg gathering. This could be tricky. A trio of Flippers makes it easier to start, and backs us half our quota, and I get us another sixth of the way there by splatting a Fish Finger. I splat another Fish Finger, this one from the ground, then head out, as some distant bosses will causes us problems. I splat the Stinger, but abandon the Flyfish when a squidmate is splatted. Our other squidmate revives them, which is good, but Im back at the basket and so dunk eggs and try to keep the turf clear there. Flippers arent helping any more, and I hop in to a cannon to clear the area for a few shots, before going back in to survival mode. On to the final wave!
Mudmouths again arent too tricky normally, and dont feel like they should pose much problem for a trio, only the waves of Smallfry and Cohocks become more difficult to deal with. I focus on the Mudmouths themselves, to keep numbers down that way, particularly as I have the Snipewriter, which isnt that useful against Smallfry. But we also need eggs, so I try to get them in to the basket too. A couple of Inkstrikes probably help, and we hit quota with plenty of time to space. I also think my squidmates must be doing a great job with keeping the Smallfry down, because I am barely spooned by them the entire wave. For going down to three early on, I think we performed excellently. Woomy! Splatoon 3: We can work with three in Salmon Run [19-28-32, 34/554]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/BRhEvuBNZxI/mqdefault.jpg)
![Splatoon 3: Slinking around the Hub in Splat Zones [18(2)-6, Carbon Roller Deco]
I have no real plan to start this battle. Maybe it shows. Unlike the Aerospray, lobbing its first B-bomb within seconds. I think I dodge it, and maybe I do, as I am splatted instead by the other Aerospray sliding a Dolphin in to our Splat Zone. I slink back to the action, such as it is, and get a weak flick against a pinkling below, who must have been very inky to start with. Then I lurk. I slink around the side, get behind the pinklings, and start throwing ink in random directions, barely hitting anyone. Its not the best tactic, as it turns out. I might need to develop it.
At least my squidmates have given us a lead. I help out by hitting a pesky Aerospray pestering our Roller with a Burst Bomb, before sliding across to catch the B-bomber on landing. And the super-jumper landing next to them. I move on to splat the Blaster too, and a squidmate splats the Decavitator trying to splat me from behind to complete the Wipeout. Nice! We have a bit of time, so I tidy up, then inadvertently use a squidmate for bait for my Trizooka. Im hit with a Point Sensor, but that drops quickly, and the squidmate super-jumping to me becomes more bait, dragging in the Blaster who thinks Ive gone away. I havent.
I head back to the pinkling side, chase a slippery Aerospray, then more successfully chase the Blaster. That has my running in to the Decavitator, which wouldnt be so bad if I head a heavier Roller. I return to things happening not near me, so I take the opportunity to ink the pink Splat Zone. That gets attention, and if only my first swing was better, I would find myself stuck under a Splashdown. I resign my body to its fate, and return shortly, heading right around the back to immediately give away my position by destroying a Sprinkler. Back I go.
More splats happening, just not near me for a while. My idea to get on the plinth doesnt even help with a second Trizooka. I run away as pink Specials fly in, and run back in as I see a super-jumper about to land. Its the Decavitator, but luckily they have spotted a squidmate, and I can get close for the splat. I run away from the Blaster, leaving an unlucky squidmate behind, and return as the Decavitator makes a reappearance, to their misfortune, and I hang around to just about save a super-jumping squidmate from an Aerospray. I almost run away again, but cant help but turn around, which lets me splat the Blaster, and the second Aerospray as they land from throwing a B-bomb. I land in the B-bomb, which is a shame, but the splats were worth it, and our score continues ticking over. Or it did.
The Decavitator is the only inkling up, and they turn the Splat Zones pink on their lonesome. I take the long way back, running in to an Aerospray, or maybe it was two, and roll through the Splat Zones. That finds the Blaster, and again I find myself not accurate enough from a distance to stop them activating a Splashdown on top of me. So it goes. As time winds down, the Splat Zones are pink and the pinklings are pushing in to our turf. I encounter them close up, and probably shouldnt have survived. But I do, and help recover the Splat Zones, pausing only to splat a hapless super-jumper, doing their panicked best to stop our victory. But they cant. Woomy! Taking a break from the Wellstring, Im bringing out the bucket. I am clearly rusty, as I have no idea where to go initially, or where to run, or what my range is. Its a really poor start. I try to play a little more defensively, which works and lets us turn the Tower around. I just about dodge a Splat Bomb and Chicken, which a squidmate doesnt, but Im not quite quick enough at sloshing the Flingza Roller behind the wall. I try my luck heading down the blind side, starting as a flank and turning in to going right behind the lines. The yellow team dont see me, so my sloshes come as a surprise to a couple of them, which is good for us.
I ride the Tower for a bit, jumping off to splat the N-ZAP 89, and hopping the block to actually be quicker than the Flingza Roller this time. With ink lapping at my heels I follow up to splat the Splattershot Nova, before running away. Not far, though, as the Tower is there, so I hop in to an Inkjet to show that I still need more practice with it, and end up landing in the path of the Flingza Roller. So it goes. I return down the blind side again, taking care to drop off the ledge in cover, and approach the Tower from behind, where two more inklings arent expecting me to be.
Riding the Tower has me targeted by a Killer Wail, which I only just dodge, and I continue my dodging to get back on the yellow ledge, where I close with the Range Blaster quicker than they can get a bead on me. I drop down to get up the block, where an inkling evades me, and another Killer Wail comes for me. I run away, ending up by the Tower, and also by a Chicken that I dont register. Thats okay, as my squidmates keep the push going, and I super-jump back, where the Flingza Roller waits to greet me.
I risk another super-jump, this one deep behind yellow lines, and it pays off. I protect a squidmate also jumping in from the Flingza Roller, catch the Splattershot Nova who missed seeing me, and splat the N-ZAP 89 off the Tower. I nearly turn the Tower around, but the Range Blaster is somewhere. I dont quite see them, so just chuck Toxic Mist and slosh around. I dont think it works, and instead the Flingza Roller appears for some deserved revenge. Another trip down the side, and although I am spotted, from two angles, I somehow survive and get close enough to the Splattershot Nova to splat them without getting splatted back, and that lets me approach the rest of the yellow team from behind.
We turn the Tower around with thirty seconds left on the clock and a good lead already under our belts. Some random sloshing stops the Flingza Roller, but it takes more than that against the Splattershot Nova, who keeps their range, holding me at bay, and although neither of us splats the other, our little duel stops one yellow inkling from battling for the Tower, which ultimately works in our favour, as time runs out.
