Punch Drumming (TM) to parts of three songs by Elvis Presley: "Hound Dog" "All Shook Up" and "JailHouse Rock". These songs are best for what I call "Straight Time" punchdrumming using mostly the basic triplet rhythm pattern and some double punch pass through linking. The More complex syncopated punching combinations just seem like too much bag for music like this.

This is an original composition by Neal Powers, np[scoot] music. The slower drifting Piano Melody accented with the syncopated drum beat underneath is perfect for a relaxed Punch Drumming (tm) workout. I mostly use syncopated punching combinations for a slower punching pattern (great for throwing some more advanced combinations with shadow punching and elbows). Punching slower and easier like this is great for controlling your bag speed and pun Or you can use a faster speed basic punching pattern (1:22-1:33) for a more physical, hard punching workout. Many thanks to Neal for giving his permission to use and perform to his music! Come on, speed baggers, ...Punch up a few of his compositions!
