Here it is, friends. After 28,140 attempts, 2 deaths at 91%, and over a month of playing, I proudly present to you my biggest achievement in this game to date; Spectrum Cyclone.
What an experience this was. Unlike Titan Complex which was and probably still is my worst experience with a new hardest, let alone level in general, this was very well my best, even though my luck was kinda bad. I did try this for a little bit some time before the update, and quickly stopped since the last dual made it seem so intimidating to go for, fast forward to when the update happened and I quickly decided to try the level out again, and thanks to the changes the update made, I was immediately attached to this level. It was unbelievably fun to learn, incredibly fun to start progressing on, and even after dying at 91% twice it still remained incredibly fun to the very end. This is something I never felt the same about for any other level, not even Sunset Sandstorm, which I most certainly would've started feeling tired about if I had played it as long as this. On top of having the best gameplay I've ever touched in a level, the song was amazing to listen to no matter how much I played and the deco is beautiful and fits with everything else about the level so perfectly. I'm extremely proud of this achievement; unlike Titan Complex which I had initial doubts on regarding if I felt like it was actually my hardest, this is absolutely my hardest demon by a mile, it doesn't even remotely compare to Titan Complex or Sunset Sandstorm in the slightest for me; it's on an entire new level of difficulty, and this will most likely stay as my hardest for quite a while. I plan on starting to do harder stuff more often, like more main lists and high extended list demons, but unless I have a change of heart I don't see myself topping this anytime soon. This is quite possibly the best experience I will ever have with a level in this game, I cannot recommend it enough, regardless if it would be a new hardest for you or not.
