First post-rate victor, I think? And 4th victor overall. I'm in shock about how quickly I beat this and how lucky I got. 4 days total and a ridiculous fluke from 55%. Best luck I've had on a level since Sunset Sandstorm (nearly 2 years ago now) if not my best period.
Anyhow, I had interest in going for this since its release, but since at the time it would've been a new hardest for me and it wasn't getting rated, I never seriously went through with it even though I spent 2,246 attempts trying after its release. That, of course, changed this past week when it finally got rated. I've been taking a break from Zodiac and since my interest I had in the level from the beginning was still with me, I decided to go for it and race with lobster. Best of luck to him on finishing this!
So about the level itself. Overall it's fun but there are a number of problems with it. The balancing isn't exactly the best. The first 20% aside from the blue orb at the end of Dreamtide's part is pretty easy, which I actually like, but starting at 32% it becomes rocky for a while. The 32% wave click is absurdly hard, possibly the hardest click in the entire level. The 37% mini wave suffers from the same issue, then 40-48% is super awkward and annoyed the hell out of me at times. Possibly worst of all was Expy's part, which was not only one of the hardest parts for me but also was completely broken. The slope at the 55% ship doesn't work sometimes and just launches you into the following top spikes no matter what, which made me have to change my method for transitioning into the ship by either not full jumping as the robot or skipping the green orb entirely. However, the 54% red orb was even more broken. The red orb never worked for me in my copy, which was actually fine because it still wasn't tough to pass. That is until my 1st time at 54% on my last day of playing where I just had an awful streak of dying there repeatedly because the red orb worked on the server copy, and I didn't actually notice it until I died to it for the 6th time in a row. From there, I had to add another red orb in my practice copy and adjust my muscle memory to it. The 56% wave isn't complete bullshit unlike the two points I just mentioned but the chance of just missing the first gravity portal and going under it annoyed me a lot at times. The transition out of Enzore's wave also can kill you if you exit the wave too low which also got on my nerves at times. After 62%, the level takes a significant drop in difficulty, although the Jetpack part at the very end is so much harder with nerves.
Even though I was losing my mind for a while due to not passing the middle of the level, I couldn't have really asked for better in the end thanks to that fluke. Solid level overall and a good sequel to Twisted Tranquility, not very sure if I'd recommend it though unless you have a niche for XXL levels and have beaten harder stuff than this.
