Footage from the Shoot Aikido seminar in Tokyo, 2025, led by the founder of the style, Fumio Sakurai Sensei

One of the most unique aspects about this style is Aiki-Kumite, which loosely translates as Aiki-grappling. This is basically sparring with live resistance, whilst only using Aikido techniques.

This video has sparring footage with two students from the seminar.
