In this video I talk about isolated movements, object manipulation and the weapon application of thrusts coming out of a circular motion.

By using a ball & chain, jo staff, indian club and longsword, I explain isolation principles when spinning an object or using a weapon. I also show how a thrust can come from a circular movement such as the 15th Jo Suburi.

These principles can be used in a martial application and with other weapons such as a rope dart or meteor hammer. They can also be used by flow artists for object manipulation with various props.
