In this video Sensei Paul Lowing explains the the Ki Musubi No Tachi partner practice exercise. It is normally practiced at distance to understanding timing and connection.

The Aiki-Ken was developed by Morihei Ueshiba (O'Sensei) and is a method of using Japanese sword techniques to teach the principles of Aikido.

This exercise was originally taught by Saito Sensei. They consist of foundational movements found in the 7 old ken partner practices. The video for this can be found here: youtu.be/6qkjNNvxQvo

The Ki Musubi No Tachi is usually practiced after a student has learnt all 7 ken suburi, the 4 Ken awase and 5 Kumitachi.
