SoundFFT is a fast and accurate spectrum analyzer for live audio signals. It performs a fast Fourier transform (FFT) on the live input signal. The frequency resolution is 5.86Hz.

In this demo, I have coupled SoundFFT with my Java 3D graphics library Line3D in order to show how the frequency spectrum changes over time. In the first half of the video, the displayed frequency bandwidth is 2000Hz, in the second half, 5000Hz is being displayed.
