Do not ask how I got to Sonic Superstars early, but for the people unaware, the game broke the street date from it's intended October 17th release. As such, I will not post any spoilers regarding new zones, boss fights, cutscenes, etc. until after its intended release date.
That said, I'm going to post some speedruns of stages already revealed and featured in demos. I think that's fair.
My opinion on the game so far (I've only played 4 zones) is that it's good, the physics are on point and the level design for the most part is pretty good, albeit a bit more unusual and with certain gimmicks that are prone to break in unexpected ways. Still, as far as overall enjoyment, while I do like it, I don't think the level design reaches the same heights as Sonic Mania, but the new level themes are very welcomed... shame the music is hit or miss...
Anyway, here's a speedrun I did of Bridge Island Zone Act 2 with Amy, definitely room for improvement, especially since I lost 3 seconds on the boss for not properly gauging its invincibility frames... yeah boss fights drag a bit too much for my liking and mostly rely on waiting...
