If you're a long time Sonic fan clamoring for a modern Sonic Adventure or Sonic Adventure 2 remake, especially in Unreal Engine 5, then this video is for you... I think... idk

For what it is as a Sonic fangame as well as a proof of concept showcase, Sonic Adventure 2 Redux is... fine. The controls are good, animations are well done and it looks really good in certain parts with raytracing and light shafts, but other parts scream "SEGA, hire this man!". I know it's cool and trendy to remake old video games in Unreal Engine 5 (I know content farm channels making loads of money out of "UE5 remakes" of nostalgic games, no matter how bare bones or functional those showcases are, because let's face, they will never get finished), but personally I think Unreal Engine 5 is overrated as heck and it's only a buzzword to get YouTube views.

Now, I'm not trying to crap on this Sonic fangame and the dev's work here. Even with all I said above, Sonic Adventure 2 Redux manages to go on the "really good UE5 remakes", despite some technical issues. I'm just cynical about anything related to UE5, but that's just me.
