For the 3rd year in a row, Sonic Colors Demastered makes an appearance at SAGE 2024 and this time with another meaty update. Not only do we get Planet Wisp, complete with new levels, new gimmicks, but even new level missions in other areas like Tropical Resort and Sweet Mountain, complete with brand new dialogue and other guest characters.
I am genuinely impressed on how varied the levels are, both in terms of structure, gimmicks and design. Not to mention, S ranking them is not easy at all (I'd argue it's a lot more difficult than the 3D version of Sonic Colors, can't really say anything about the DS version since I haven't played it... yet) and I will admit, I had some failed attempts and deaths cut out post edit.
I also really, really enjoy the writing in the mission levels were other guest characters appear, as well as the remixes of already existing songs. It's clear whoever the developer is, they're really passionate about Sonic Colors and the Sonic franchise in general and I hope they'll finish their fangame.
