In this video, Sonic Boom, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Activision.
Destroy the evil fanatic group who have occupied the prime military bases of the world, in Sonic Boom, the world's strongest jet fighter. Shoot through six levels of testing missions and blast over cities, deserts and great seas. Pick up parachutes to gain extra energy and "spint" jets, battle through air to air attacks and shoot at oil rigs.
Based on Sega's 1987 coin-op, Sonic Boom sports nice graphics, smooth vertical scrolling, good chiptunes and sound fx simultaneously. A balanced difficulty and a good playability makes the game enjoyable even if the action is a bit too slow.
