In this video, Outcast / Renegade, released in 1987 for the Atari ST by Mastertronic.
In the Magellan Cluster, a renegade or outcast ran away from the "Hive" to start one on his own. But the collective mind is not happy about this and launched an invasion attacking his bases. We play the renegade/outcast and our duty is to defend our bases so that the larvae within can hatch and we can start our own hive. Ah and we must also survive.
Despite being an 1987 game the 3D graphics are nice, not so detailed but, more important, they are fast even when there's a good amount of enemies. The sounds are ok and the playability is above average. Also, with a price of £9,99, Outcast/Renegade embodied the Power without the price STyle.
I've never played this little gem back in the days and I must admit that I've lost a good game but now, thanks to this channel, I had the chance to try and play it.
