I recently visited an old Friend who is a fifth-generation Montanan. She loves horses and all animals. Her front lawn is enclosed by a circular driveway off of the County road beyond where we see these horses enjoying the green grass. Letting the six horses out of the corral to enjoy the green yard grass is a morning routine for this cowgirl. From that circle the horses will meander into the front, side, and back lawns, where they will also find good well water. My friend is not only an avid horse rider who enjoys Montana's awesome mountains and valleys on horseback; she is also a trainer. She rounds-out her equestrian expertise by being a busy grandmother who teaches kids how to ride and all about how to care for horses. She also raises fruit trees and vegetable gardens, and cans her food in quart jars using a pressure cooker. When I stopped in to visit her, she had two dozen quart jars of preserved tomatoes cooling in her kitchen. We have been trusting friends for eighteen years.
