Okay, so I'm partial to poetry. Always have loved poetry. One of my favorite metaphors was penned by Dylan Thomas long ago. He was a wild man who died very young, having burned life's candle at both ends to see the miracle of life first-hand. His unforgettable line came to mind as I stood with a camera with a high-country lake sending a breeze to the trees, below which stood this flower -- a flower which is new to me, and for which I do not have a name. The wind kept the flower moving, so this video is not a very good shot at catching the flower's amazing beauty. But that aside, here is Dylan Thomas' famous metaphor, paraphrased from an old memory -- I hope I got it right.
"That force which through the green fuse drives the flower sends my love to you." - Dylan Thomas
