1. In a recent video, CloakedYoshi showed that you can use the infinite barrel flying glitch to skip part of the Echoing Caves at the cost of some lums. This video shows an alternative that doesn't save as much time, but gets more lums. Instead of going out of bounds, you can stay in bounds, pick up most of the lums, and go to the end of the level.

You can save a few seconds in Sanctuary of Rock and Lava by ignoring the first three lums after the first screen fade, activating the moving platform, getting the lums, and getting back on the platform. This is similar to the timesaver shown in my last video. Don't run too far ahead of the platform or it will disappear.
