I park up in the village of Grasmere and take the lovely scenic walk up to the summit of Silver How for a solo wildcamp. The views at the top were absolutely stunning, Grasmere, Rydal water, Coniston and Elterwater were clear as a bell, and with the rolling hills of the Langdales behind me it was the best solo wildcamp and pitch of my life. I try out my new tent, the Terra Nova Northern lite 2 for the first time, as well as the Aksoul sleeping pad.
