Join me on this camping adventure, following a bad week due to low testosterone symptoms, poor sleep, fatigue and tiredness I wasn't up to heading out into the fells, but I did get off my backside and venture outdoors. I hike through a woodland, then along the shores of a lake, eventually finding my pitch for the night. Heavy rain with a yellow weather warning was forecast, and just as I started setting up the tent the heavens opened, quickly getting the poles in place I take refuge inside, there was a brief lull which enabled me to guy the tent out properly, and set the stove up. With the rain continuing I finish setting up inside, and light the stove. I cook up 2 steaks with Teriyaki noodles, which was delicious 😋 then I chill out to the sound of heavy rain on canvas and enjoy the heat off the stove. I also had the Gardepro trail cam set up to see if there was any nocturnal wildlife, unfortunately there wasn't, but I did include some clips to show you the quality, and am looking forward to capturing some animal action on up coming camps. Following yet another broken night's sleep I wake and enjoy breakfast and a very strong coffee, before packing up, making sure I leave no trace, and head home.
